GOD IN THE CITY 2026
Equipping Leaders. Empowering Youth. Celebrating God at Work in Our Cities.
Are you longing to grow in your capacity to serve young people with wisdom, creativity, and faith?
Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for the God in the City Conference—a dynamic gathering designed for youth workers, ministry leaders, educators, and mentors serving young people in urban communities. This conference exists to equip, encourage, and renew those called to walk alongside youth in the city.
Through enriching workshops, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to connect with others doing this vital work, you’ll gain practical tools and fresh perspective for ministry in the urban context. Together, we’ll celebrate the city as a place of abundance, resilience, and hope—and recognize how God is already moving powerfully in and through our communities.
Come be inspired, resourced, and reminded: God is present in the city, and you are part of the work God is doing.

About Esperanza's Faith & Capacity Initiatives
Over the past 16 years, Esperanza's Faith & Capacity Initiatives has served the “least of these” by strengthening local churches, organizations, and individuals that serve the Hispanic community. We come alongside church leaders, youth leaders, and member with skills and resources to equip them for even greater success. Click here to read more about our current programs, including Renovación Pastoral for pastors entering ministry to be mentored by seasoned clergy; Thriving Congregations, to explore your ministry's connection and expressions in a changing world; and more!
Esperanza's Faith & Capacity Initiatives inspires vision and provides educational opportunities and resources for those that work with Latino youth to reach, disciple and give voice to young people to become agents of transformation in urban communities. We are proud to have more than 70 graduates of this program who are creating change each day in their communities!
This work is an outgrowth of Esperanza, founded by the Hispanic Clergy of Philadelphia to strengthen Hispanic communities, driven by the Biblical mandate in Matthew 25:40 to serve "the least of these".
